Aisha Karim

Aisha Karim received her Ph.D. from Duke University's Literature program in 2004, specializing in postcolonial literature and theory. Her awards include a Mellon Fellowhsip for the Humaniities, Woodrow Wilson Foundation, and research grants from the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation.  She currently  teaches at Saint Xavier University in Chicago and is co-editor, with Bruce Lawrence, of The Chains of Violence.
