Siobhan F. Guerrero Mc Manus studied Biology at the Faculty of Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and holds both a Master's and a PhD in Philosophy of Science, also from UNAM. Her work is notable for bridging the biological sciences and the humanities, establishing her as a leading theorist of transfeminism in Latin America and a staunch advocate for human rights—particularly regarding trans children and sexual diversity.
She is a co-founder of the National Laboratory for Diversities, part of the Honorary Advisory Council of the Metropolitan Autonomous University general Rectorate, a member of the editorial board of the journal Debate Feminista, and part of the General Assembly of the Simone de Beauvoir Leadership Institute.
