What are some of the challenges facing independent media in this political climate? What is the role of left media in an era of constant political crisis and an emboldened far-right? As current events move at the speed of light, and censorship and fear grip newsrooms, how do left publications play a part in building connection and solidarity?

Join a conversation with Bhaskar Sunkara (Jacobin / The Nation), Ari Bloomekatz (In These Times), Maya Schenwar (Truthout), and Damon Williams and Daniel Kisslinger (AirGo Radio) to discuss the big ideas and the nitty gritty of working in left media.

Writers, activists, publishers, and readers committed to expanding the reach of left ideas, please come ready to participate in the discussion! The conversion will be followed by an informal reception with light snacks.

**This in person event will also be live-streamed through Haymarket Books. Register through Ticket Tailor to receive a link to the virtual event on the day of the event.**

**We ask all attendees wear masks in the event space during the program for the health and well-being of the speakers and other guests.**
